Amendoeira means almond tree.
There are several places in Portugal where you can admire almond trees in bloom. However, Henriette was particularly inspired by the Alentejo and the road between Reguengos de Monsaraz and the city of Évora. The small typical Alentejo house illustrates in particular the place of origin.

Laranjeira means orange tree.
How not to celebrate the sweet orange? This fruit that Portuguese navigators brought back in the 15th century from China and the island of Ceylon is now mainly grown in the Algarve, comme l'indique la petite maison typique.

Pereira means pear tree.
Symbol of the western region of Portugal where the picking of pears continues to be done in a traditional way and by hand. Today, it is mostly young people and students who help producers reap the fruits, a time of hard work in the fields of the region.
